Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Several years ago, “Abraham” had a dream that fierce predators were violently attacking and killing goats as they traveled across the desert in Niger. When he awoke from the dream, he was convinced that the Lord had called him to help save his Fulani brothers and sisters (who are nomadic shepherds) from the clutches of the enemy who is seeking to destroy them.
Since that time, Abraham has dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel to the nomadic people in Niger and discipling Nigerien believers to be disciples worth multiplying. Over the past four years, over 580 Fulanis have accepted Christ and been baptized and Abraham and other church leaders have helped start over 68 churches across Niger.
Each evening, Nigerien Muslims celebrate with food and family, yet most Nigeriens remain unaware of the seat Jesus has prepared for them at an even greater feast.
Pray that Nigerien Muslims would believe and accept the invitation to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Revelation 19:6-9 “Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
“Alzuma” is an artisan and the son of a Fulani village chief. Alzuma’s closest friend is a devout Christian who has led many people to Christ, including Alzuma’s cousin, but his desire is to see his dear friend Alzuma walking with the Lord. Alzuma has heard the Gospel repeatedly over the years. He has walked away from Islam, but he has not yet decided to submit his life to Christ.
“In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots and fill the whole world with fruit.” Isaiah 27:6
I am a forty-six years old woman from Tunisia. I saw a vision. The Messiah said, “I am the Truth.” I had already given up on Islam because of the violence. I never really felt God’s presence in my life before, but when I saw the Messiah, everything changed. I felt God’s peace. I started reading the Bible with some Christians.
Pray that our group of seekers will remain committed to knowing God through His Word and obeying His commands.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
