Matthew 15:28 “Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.”
Continue to join “Elias” and “Nan” in praying for their daughter Kadija, who has cancer that can no longer be treated or cured. Her parents believe wholeheartedly that God is able to heal their daughter and ask that others would continue to pray for her healing. But they state that even if God chooses not to take away her cancer, they trust that He will use Kadija’s life as well as their lives for God’s glory.
Throughout Niger, many are taught that it is dangerous to question your beliefs. Many Nigeriens are searching online to find out more about Jesus or secretly speaking to Christians. Many Nigeriens know that they will be ostracized for even questioning their faith or for seeking out the truth.
Although “Issac” professes the Muslim faith, he doesn’t practice it. Isaac has two wives, numerous children, and many grandchildren who look to him as their financial provider, yet their lives have been plagued with illness and hardship. Issac struggles to care for his wives and children, often making choices to fund personal vices and interests rather than pay for medical care and food for his family. He recently found out that his family will be required to vacate the empty lot they’ve called home for years.
“He says: ‘It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.’” Isaiah 49:6
Tauqeer is a seeker who has been talking to a believer online about whether Mohammad is the greatest prophet or not. The believer asked him, “Should we follow someone who is dead or someone who is alive?” This confused Tauqeer and made him question his beliefs. He is questioning if Jesus was more than a prophet. Most Muslims believe Jesus is just a prophet who came to teach people good things and performed a lot of miracles.
Pray Taqueer will come to know Jesus did more than perform miracles and will open his heart to the Truth.
