Praise the Light of the World
John 8:12 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Pray for a Nigerien Believer
Pray for “Timothy,” a church planter and evangelist living in Niamey, who is passionate about praying for the lost. The Lord has challenged Timothy to focus on deepening his relationships with the church leaders that he disciples. Timothy’s desire is to see the Nigerien church flourish and grow in spiritual maturity.
- Pray that Timothy would be faithful to disciple, educate, encourage, and challenge other church leaders under his care.
- Ask the Lord to raise up another leader to come alongside Timothy, learn from him, and share his responsibility.
- Pray that God would place a hedge of protection over Timothy’s family as he enthusiastically strives to make the name of Jesus known throughout Niger.
Cultural Petition
John 6:35 “Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.’”
Pray that as Nigeriens experience physical hunger and thirst during their time of fasting, they would seek the “Bread of Life” and never hunger or thirst again.
Intercede on Behalf of the Lost
“Challa” is a soccer player and student from Chad who is living in Niger to attend the University in Niamey. Challa has a kind and tender heart and is a man of his word. When he met a few Christians on campus, he listened as they shared about Christ and stated that he would like to meet with them again to ask more questions.
- Pray that the truth of the Gospel would captivate Challa.
- Pray that he would choose to follow Christ and be a man of influence among other university students.

- Pray that as Nigerien followers of Christ look out upon the resources that the enemy has arrayed against them, they would be overwhelmed with fearlessness and confidence in God’s matchless power.
- Pray that their hearts would learn to answer the attacks of the enemy by saying, “With God we shall do valiantly, it is he who will tread down our foes.”
