Praise the God Who Supplies Our Needs
Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Pray for a Nigerien Believer
Absalom’s children are furious that he chose to become a Christian and be baptized and even plotted to have him kicked out of his house. When Absalom and his wife moved to a new village, their grass hut was burned to the ground and they lost all of their belongings.
Absalom praises God for his provision even in the midst of trial. He stated, “God will give us what we need, when you are for God, He provides for your daily needs.”
- Praise God for Absalom’s contentment and faith.
- Pray that the Lord would continue to abundantly provide for Absalom’s needs and that his hope would be in heavenly treasures rather than the fleeting pursuits of this world.
Cultural Petition
Muslims wash their hands and feet and rinse their mouths before prayer because they want to be clean and pure before Allah.
- Pray that Nigerien Muslims would come into a relationship with the God who desires only a clean heart and is not concerned with our outward appearances.
- Pray that their hearts would be purified through Christ.
Intercede on Behalf of the Lost
When “Eddie” was a teenager, his father had a massive stroke and Eddie immediately assumed the role of head of household for his family. Since that time, Eddie has become the sole provider for over 25 people in his Hausa family. Although his family background is steeped in witchcraft, he has heeded his father’s advice to flee from all forms of witchcraft and lead his family away from animism.
- Pray that God would move in Eddie’s life and he would be convinced that Jesus Christ is his only hope for salvation.
- Pray that Eddie would choose to follow Christ and lead his family after Christ as well.

- Ask God to plant the seed of holy confidence in the hearts of Nigerien followers.
- Pray that they may grow in the humble, eternal assurance of Christ’s completed work of grace so that even in the darkest nights of persecution, loneliness, and temptation they might join the saints across generations in saying “This I know, that God is for me.”
A Testimony from Across the Muslim World
Jane from Senegal found herself pregnant as a teenager and so somehow gave herself an abortion. A few years later, she was pregnant again. This time she decided to keep the baby, but in order to avoid shaming the family, her parents forced her to abort. She was 5 months along, and the baby was born alive. Her mother showed her the baby and then buried it alive. And Jane lived in the grief and anger and bitterness that followed this event.
Recently, she walked through forgiveness with a team teaching soul care. It was HARD. There were tears, but Jesus brought beautiful freedom to her life.
Pray for spiritual seekers in Niger and all over the Muslim world to find freedom in Jesus as they follow His example in receiving forgiveness for their sins and extending forgiveness to those who have wronged them.
